rain, rain, go away, come again, another day!

I didn't realize that when I signed up to live in Geneva, I would also be in for a manic ride through a variety of bi-polar weather. It has been consistently rainy in the morning, sunny by lunch time and then rainy again, maybe ending the day with a hazy sunset! Bursts of 70s orange spreading across a slate gray wall of clouds. Ugh! I don't know if I can take it anymore! Gone are the days of sun and warmth, of being able to SEE the mountains. It has been almost two weeks of these persistent heavenly tears, and I just wish the sky would get itself together and let the sun shine. Maddy is under the impression that the sun and the clouds got in a big fight last month and the clouds won. Now the sun has to wait a whole month until it is her turn to shine again. Audrey keeps on singing that song, "Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. golden Sun please shine down on me!" hoping to persuade its rays out of hiding. I hope it works :)
